The multi-talented Melissa Bacelar is making quite the name for herself in the Horror Film Genre. Melissa already a successful businesswoman and prolific writer is one of the top names in the horror film industry. Her latest project "EAT YOUR HEART OUT" opens the Spooky Film Festival in Washington, D.C . Not only is Melissa starring but also she executive produces this film which will be released in early 2008.

Melissa first foray into the horror genre was in Troma Film's Citizen Toxie: The Toxie Avenger IV, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Her other credits include "ADDICTION," "THIS THING OF OURS" and the award winning "STRANGE THINGS HAPPEN AT SUNDOWN." She recently wrapped parts in three other feature films including 'HOTEL CALIFORNIA," "PINK EYE," and "COLUMBUS DAY."

Even though Melissa has found huge success in the Horror Genre, she continues to work in mainstream projects. She will next been seen on a STARZ Network series produced by Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) called 'Hollywood Residential' where she plays the recurring character Scartett Jo Ramson. Her other TV credits include "Without a Trace," "The John Henson Project" and a 3-year recurring role on ABC's 'One Life To Live."

Melissa's entrepreneur skills have paid off as she runs a bourgeoning entertainment business called Network Studios, which that connects actors with casting agents. She has also penned several pilots, two of which are being considered by major TV networks.
